Christmas is fast approaching, and so are holiday closures.

Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday this year, which means many offices in Columbus that typically remain open the day before the holiday will be closed. That means banking and other errands might not be possible until Tuesday after the holiday, so, run your important errands on Friday.

The Dispatch has complied a laundry list of banks, government offices and other Christmas closures for this season:

Banks

Most banks, including Bank of America, PNC, Citibank and others will be closed both Christmas Eve (a Sunday) and on Christmas Day itself.

Grocery stores

Kroger, Whole Foods, Meijer, Walmart and other major grocery stores will be closed Christmas Day.

Most stores will have limited hours on Christmas Eve, so check with your local grocer before heading out.
