What's the Buzz: Upcoming events include Disney on Ice, wine sampling and bridal show

Pick any one of the events happening in and around the area to keep your week busy. I’ll be highlighting attractions, activities, and festivals right here, every week. From local music and shows to options for those of you who don’t mind traveling a bit, there’s something for everyone. Be sure to check all activities, as cancellations can occur. The events listed are for Jan. 26 to Feb. 4.

Thursday

Disney on Ice: Let's Celebrate. The magic of Disney when it comes to Nationwide Arena as 50 of your favorite characters skate and entertain. The show is scheduled to run through Sunday, with tickets starting at $15. Showtimes are Thursday at 7 p.m., Friday at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., Saturday at11 a.m., 3 p.m., and 7 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.ticketmaster.com. Columbus Chocolate, Wine and Whiskey Festival. Don't feel like watching Disney favorites on ice? Head down to COSI for its 21+ and over event. Your ticket to the festival gets you unlimited chocolate, wine, and spirit sampling along with a souvenir wine glass. Tux & Stuff Bridal Show. Those planning to get married will want to head to Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center. The Tux & Stuff Bridal Show returns and looks to be bigger than ever. Caterers, florists, photographers, bakeries and more will be available to help you pick your selections. There is a $5 entry fee, door prizes, and one winner will receive $500 cash. Sweetheart Stroll. Tickets are $10 and get you a reusable bag for various stops for sweets for your sweet. Tickets are available at eventbrite.com or by calling the Main Street office at 740-439-2238. The event is scheduled to run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. For more information call 740-439-2238.   • Friday. 2023 Deerassic Park Coyote Tournament. Registration per team is $80, with $10 entries to the large and small coyote pot also available. Registration is open until 4 p.m. on Jan. 26. Teams must consist of four people, and all team members must hunt together. Rules and regulations can be found on the website. The tournament is scheduled to run from Jan. 27 to 29. Teams can register by calling 740-435-3335, visiting www.deerassic.com, or stopping into the Deerassic office. Deerassic Park, 14250 Cadiz Road, Cambridge.

  • Friday. Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives. The Peoples Bank Theatre in Marietta will welcome Grammy-award-winning country legend Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives. The show is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. with tickets starting at $46. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the Peoples Bank Theatre website or by visiting the box office.
