Each week on “Whatcha Packin’,” Michelle Visage interviews the recently eliminated queen and shows us some of the runway looks they didn’t get the chance to use on the show. Following her episode 11 elimination, Mhi’ya Iman Le’Paige connects with Michelle over her ability to “make do” in tough situations and “body expiration dates.” Watch the full episode above via the official RuPaul’s Drag Race channel on YouTube.

In her interview with Michelle, Mhi’ya said it was important for her time on the show to depict what Miami queens bring to the community and can offer as entertainers. She appreciated that her sister from the area Morphine Love Dion was there as a friendly face, but she admits that she didn’t show her full self out of a hesitation to “open up.” Mhi’ya also comments that her seamstress “didn’t come through” with some of the looks they discussed for the show to which Michelle compliments her ability to “make do” and last as long as she did.

When asked what the one thing was she had to bring to the show, Mhi’ya said it was a crystal that one of her best friends back home gave her. The crystal had to have been a crutch the helped Mhi’ya handle the nerves she told Michelle she felt coming into the process and even being in the current interview with her. Michelle emphasized that as long as you do you, there’s nothing you can do that is out of place or be nervous about. If Mhi’ya got to do it all again her advice to herself would be to “let loose and be myself,” as well as not using the same seamstress.
