Whataburger plans another Nashville location. What we know about the expansion

As part of its huge expansion to the Nashville market, Whataburger is opening a new location in East Nashville.

The new East Nashville location of the fast food burger joint, according to Metro building permits, will be located at 1201 Gallatin Ave. and is set to join nine other Middle Tennessee locations in development.

The 0.9-acre parcel is owned by H G Hill Realty Company, which purchased the property in 2021 for $2.4 million.

Which Whataburger locations are open in the Nashville area?

The Texas-based burger chain initially announced a nine-location expansion to the Middle Tennessee market in 2021, and has steadily delivered on its promise since then.

The Hermitage location opened in early 2022, with the rest following over the course of that year. The following locations of Whataburger are now open in the Nashville area.

  • 5055 Old Hickory Blvd., Hermitage

  • 1123 Nashville Pike, Gallatin

  • 1835 Old Fort Pkwy., Murfreesboro

  • 439 Highway 109 North, Lebanon

  • 630 S Cumberland St., Lebanon

  • 1715 Gallatin Pike N, Madison

  • 360 W Sam Ridley Pkwy, Smyrna

There are also three locations in Clarksville, at 1602 Haynes St., 599 Fire Station Rd. and 791 N 2nd St.

Where is Whataburger opening next?

In addition to the East Nashville location in the works, the restaurant is planning a location in Antioch's Century Farms development, according to Metro building permits.
