What If Viceland’s Action Bronson Watched Other History Shows?

Imagine the sanctimonious marriage between MTV’s Jackass with YouTube’s endless supply of reaction videos and you’re on track to understanding the absurdities of Viceland’s stoner-millennial series Traveling the Stars: Ancient Aliens With Action Bronson.

Simply put, Vice hired rapper Action Bronson and a collection of friends to sit on a couch, smoke weed, and watch TV — and not just anything on TV, History’s long-running conspiracy doc series Ancient Aliens. Bronson is joined by fellow musicians The Alchemist and Knxwledge, as well as special guests like chef Roy Choi, singer/songwriter Melissa Etheridge, rapper Tyler the Creator, and wrestler Rob Van Dam.

Since Vice took over History’s secondary cable network H2 in early 2016, it’s no surprise that they dipped into the old network’s library. But why stop there? In the above video, we imagine what Traveling the Stars would look like with other History offerings, such as Pawn Stars, The Bible, American Pickers, Ice Road Truckers, Ax Men, and Ozzy and Jack’s World Tour.

Traveling the Stars: Ancient Aliens With Action Bronson airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on Viceland.
