The Wharf Amphitheater nominated for 2024 Academy of Country Music award

ORANGE BEACH, Ala (WKRG) – The Wharf Amphitheater in Orange Beach is nominated for the 2024 ACM’s Best Outdoor Venue of the Year.

This week, the Country Music Awards announced nominations for the 59th Academy of Country Music (or ACM) Awards.

The Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville, Tennessee, Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado, Saint Augustine Amphitheater in St. Augustine, and Santa Barbara Bowl in Santa Barbara, California, were also nominated for the award.

The Wharf has been nominated for Best the Industry Award for the fifth time, with its first nomination in 1999. This is also the fourth consecutive year The Wharf has been nominated in the same category.

The 10,000-seat venue has hosted some of the most popular past and current artists and bands from Country music for nearly two decades.

Country singers who performed this past year include Jason Aldean and Eric Church.

Country music acts listed for later this year include Cody Jinks, Alabama, Cole Swindell, a two-night performance of Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, and Kane Brown.
