Watson and Yana were married on Valentine’s Day last year in Paris, France. In May, the new father took to Instagram to share that his wife was expecting.

“We are happy to announce that Yana is four months pregnant with our son,” he wrote. “We planned for and patiently waited for this moment together. We feel happy and privileged to give birth to this future little warrior. My wife is doing well and is very happy to be pregnant and we are both looking forward to the birth in late September.”

“With Yana as a mother, I know that our child will be loved and that together we will strive to see that he will be compassionate, courageous and strong,” he continued. “Yana will be a very caring and attentive mother and we look forward to having a very happy family.”

Watson has one other child, Lilliolani, born in 1980, from a previous relationship.

Watson has been working with his close friend, actress Pamela Anderson, to combat the slaughter of seals as members of the Board of Directors for Sea Shepherd. Earlier this year, Anderson, 49, shared a letter Watson penned, titled “I Do Not Apologize for Opposing the Slaughter of Seals.”
