Cincinnati radio station 103.5 (WGRR-FM) has a new morning host.

Jim Day, who was previously heard on Warm 98.5 (WRRM-FM), has joined the station as a morning host and debuts this week, Cumulus Media, which owns the station, announced in a press release. Day can be heard Monday through Friday from 5-9 a.m.

Day takes over the spot previously held by Chris O’Brien and Janeen Coyle, who retired from their long-running WGRR morning show, “Married with Microphones," last year. The husband-and-wife team co-hosted their final show Dec. 22.

“I’ve worked 'just down the hall' from Chris and Janeen for the last seven years and never imagined I would be considered to take over mornings at WGRR," Day said in the release. "I was surprised to be asked and I’m honored to take on the challenge. But more than all of that, I wish the happily married couple an amazing retirement!”

“Jim will be a great addition to the WGRR team, and he only has to move his headphones about 30 feet," Keith Mitchell, the station's program director, added. "While never easy to replace a long-running show, Jim will bring energy, enthusiasm and fun to mornings."
