The UN’s World Food Programme was delivering aid on March 23 to those affected by a giant fire the day before in a camp for displaced members of the Rohingya community in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.
The WFP said its teams had “dispatched 60,000 packs of high-energy biscuits to affected families, followed by hot meals in the morning.”
It said one of its food assistance sites had been destroyed by the fire. It said 15,000 shelters were damaged or destroyed. Credit: World Food Programme via Storyful
