‘Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later’: Mark Feuerstein To Co-Star

Former Royal Pains star Mark Feuerstein is set as a major new addition to the cast of Netflix’s Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later.

Ten Years Later is Netflix’s follow-up installment to the 2015 eight-episode limited series Wet Hot American Summer: First Day Of Camp, which was a prequel to David Wain’s cult 2001 feature comedy Wet Hot American Summer. The movie was set on the last day at a fictional Jewish summer camp in 1981, while First Day Of Camp was set on the first day of said camp. Like the title of the new installment suggests, it takes place 10 years later. It was set up by a scene mid-way through the movie where the camp counselors propose a 10-year reunion.

Feuerstein will play a new character, a friendly, hard-working guy and a core member of the group who has definitely always been there every step of the way. In the ten years since that infamous summer, he’s now a powerful business man, successful and in love.

Feuerstein followed his eight-season run on Royals Pains by landing a major recurring role in Fox’s upcoming Prison Break event series opposite Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell, set for a midseason premiere. He also has comedy project 9J, 9K, and 9L in development at CBS, which he and his wife, Friends with Better Lives creator/executive producer Dana Klein are co-writing and executive producing, with an eye for Feuerstein to star. He’s repped by UTA, Framework Entertainment and attorney PJ Shapiro.
