West Michigan 12U Shamrocks softball wins NSA Early Bird Bash title

POTTERVILLE, MI. — The West Michigan 12u Shamrocks softball team started their 2022 tournament season off with a first place finish at the NSA Early Bird Bash/Mike Ogden Memorial Tournament held in Potterville this past weekend.

The Shamrocks went 6-0 over the two day tournament, with big wins over teams representing Krash, the Lakeshore Storm, Ntf Nova and Ice.

The West Michigan 12U Shamrocks are now 12-0 on the season and will play this coming Saturday at the NSA BC Blast Tournament, a two day tournament that will be held at Bailey Park in Battle Creek. The Shamrocks will also be competing in the World Series to be held in Kentucky this coming July.

Members of the team include Courtney Weaver, Lauren Lewis, Julia Travelbee, Delaney McCullough, Jillian Wallace, Avery Clark, Claire Kelly, Mallorie Miller, Anna Berger, Lezlee Smith and Lani Miller.
