Aug. 4 (UPI) -- Wes Anderson's latest film, Asteroid City, is coming to Peacock next week.

Peacock announced Friday that the comedy-drama will start streaming Aug. 11.

Asteroid City is written and directed by Anderson, a filmmaker known for The Royal Tenenbaums and Moonrise Kingdom.

The film takes place at a Junior Stargazer convention in a fictional American desert town in 1955.

"Junior Stargazers and Space Cadets from across the country assemble for the annual Asteroid Day celebration -- but the scholarly competition is spectacularly upended by world-changing events," an official description reads.

Jason Schwartzman, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hanks, Jeffrey Wright, Tilda Swinton, Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton, Adrien Brody, Stephen Park, Maya Hawke and Margot Robbie star.

Asteroid City had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May and opened in theaters the next month.
