When We Were Young 2024 tickets sold out quickly. Here's how to join the waitlist

When We Were Young Festival will once again tug at millennial emo kids' nostalgia with a star-studded lineup in 2024.

My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Simple Plan, The All-American Rejects, Jimmy Eat World, 3OH!3 and Mayday Parade were among the artists announced Monday for the third annual event, which will take place Oct. 19, 2024, at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds.

The recently reunited My Chemical Romance will perform the iconic 2006 "The Black Parade" album from top to bottom, The All-American Rejects will take fans back to 2002 with their debut self-titled album and Fall Out Boy will seemingly draw from several albums, according to the vinyl cover shown in the festival's graphic.

Shortly after tickets went on sale on Friday, the festival's social media accounts announced that they sold out.

"Due to overwhelming demand, (When) We Were Young Festival has added a second date on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds," a Nov. 17 press release states.

Organizers shared fans who were unable to purchase tickets on Nov. 17 can join the waitlist "for guaranteed access to tickets for the second date." Go to whenwewereyoungfestival.com to sign up.

The general public on-sale will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 21.

How much are When We Were Young tickets?

Price tiers range from $325 for general admission to at least $650 for VIP. Fees are included, and taxes will be added to applicable sales.
