Wendy's Is Selling Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers for 1 Cent to Celebrate National Cheeseburger Day

In honor of National Cheeseburger Day this year, the fast food chain is selling its beloved Junior Bacon Cheeseburger for just 1 cent with any purchase on the Wendy's app, according to Chew Boom. The delicious deal runs from Sept. 18 to Sept. 22, offering the perfect way to close out summer — without having to fire up the grill one last time.

Wendy's Junior Bacon Cheeseburger famously features a beef patty topped with applewood-smoked bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo.

The restaurant offered a similar promotion in May to celebrate National Hamburger Month and National Hamburger Day (May 28). The Junior Bacon Cheeseburger was once again priced at just 1 cent from May 26 through June 1.

Additionally, Wendy's served up BOGO hamburger deals all month long. When ordering through the app, customers buying one burger could get a second one for only $1.

From May 15 to May 21, those fancying chicken could take advantage of a one-time deal to order a free crispy chicken sandwich or a crispy chicken BLT with a $10 in-app purchase. The chain also offered a free soft drink with any purchase on the Wendy's app from May 29 to June 4.

Wendy's is also celebrating the imminent arrival of fall — and all things pumpkin spice. After much speculation, the fast food giant finally announced its new pumpkin spice Frosty. The sweet treat is available beginning Tuesday.

For the coffee lovers out there, Wendy's has also added a Frosty cream cold brew beverage to its menu, featuring the same pumpkin spice syrup used in the frozen dessert.

As the weather grows colder, Wendy's fans can enjoy the chain's popular chili right at home. In April, the company announced a partnership with Conagra Brands to bring its cans of its hearty chili with beef and beans to grocery stores and online retailers. The chili costs $4.99 a can.
