Wendy's Peppermint Frosty is Back on November 14

The temperatures are dropping and so is Wendy’s seasonal Frosty. The peppermint Frosty is returning to the fast food spot on Nov. 14.

Wendy’s first introduced the peppermint Frosty last November. When initially released, this was the first-ever holiday-flavored Frosty the chain had added to its menu.

The wintery dessert has “bursts of refreshing peppermint” in every spoonful, per a press release. Alongside the seasonal sweet, fans can still order the classic chocolate Frosty. The minty flavor will replace the pumpkin spice Frosty, which has been on the menu since Sept. 12.

The release of the pumpkin spice Frosty in September marked the first time the fast food brand had infused the fall flavor into its frozen treats. Wendy’s had been releasing other seasonal variations for the past year. They swapped out the vanilla Frosty for a new strawberry Frosty flavor in the summer. This was only the second new Frosty flavor introduced by the company.

Wendy’s isn’t the only fast food spot getting an early start to the holidays. Starbucks and Dunkin’ both announced their holiday menus on Wednesday, each one full of new and returning items.

In addition to announcing this year’s beloved Starbucks red cups, the company also debuted the iced gingerbread oat milk chai, hitting locations on Thursday. The flavorful confection is mixed with oat milk and black tea infused with cinnamon and warming spices. For those who prefer a warmer beverage, the gingerbread oat milk chai is also available in a hot version.

Other Starbucks’ holiday drinks are making their grand return to the menu this season, including the peppermint mocha, caramel brulée latte, chestnut praline latte and the iced sugar cookie almond milk latte.

Dunkin’ revealed that the fan-favorite cookie butter cold brew is back after a successful introduction last year. But the cookie inspo doesn’t stop there as Dunkin’ is introducing a new spiced cookie coffee to the holiday lineup. Available iced or hot, the oat milk drink is meant to “capture the essence of freshly baked oatmeal cookies in a cup,” according to a release.

Classics like the peppermint mocha latte and toasted white chocolate latte are also back at Dunkin’.
