Wendy Williams Officially Single and Ready To Mingle

Wendy Williams has officially divorced her cheating husband Kevin Hunter. TMZ obtained court documents of the finalized divorce breakdown on who got what.

Williams announced her divorce to her then-husband of over two decades in April of 2019. After Hunter had allegedly gotten his longtime girlfriend, Sharina Hudson pregnant, so the couple called it quits with Hunter eventually confessing to the rumors. He starts off by admitting “I am not proud of my recent actions.”

He goes on to explain, “I am going through a time of self-reflection and am trying to right some wrongs. No matter what the outcome is or what the future holds, we are still The Hunter Family and I will continue to work with and fully support my wife in this business and through any and all obstacles she may face living her new life of sobriety, while I also work on mine.” Hunter concluded by also addressing Williams time in a sober living house last year.

Even though it was a slightly messy separation, by the time they finalized paperwork it seems the divorce was amicable. With their assets being handled accordingly.

Williams revealed on Sway In The Morning that the couple didn’t have a prenuptial agreement.

The pair decided to split the sale for their Livingston, New Jersey home, which is on the market for $1.7 million after going down $200k from the original listing price. Hunter will get the money from the sell of their Morristown, NJ home while Williams keeps their Florida home.

Williams will buy out Hunter’s shares of the production company they owned together leaving her sole owner of Wendy, Inc. The talk show host will also obtain all furniture except one sculpture. Hunter gets to keep his Ferrari and Rolls-Royce.

Wendy disclosed in her interview with The New York Times Magazine that her husband’s affair and brand new baby had pushed her to that point to where she knew she had to walk away.

“Kevin had a major indiscretion that he will have to deal with for the rest of his life. An indiscretion that I will not deal with,” she went on to say, “I never thought that I would be in this position. I’m a very forgiving person, but there’s one thing that I could never be a part of, and that one thing happened.”

She was then asked what that “one thing” is, Williams answered, “Kevin has a daughter.”

Audiences have watched publicly as the prominent talk show host went through her divorce. Her ex-husband and son, they share, get into it a physical altercation. Her struggles with sobriety and health issues. Williams has had one helluva year.
