Wendy Williams tore into Academy voters after it was revealed that Jennifer Lopez didn’t receive a nomination for her role in Hustlers, and even called for the superstar to cancel her scheduled appearance at the 2020 Super Bowl halftime show.
“If I were you Jen, I’d pull out of the Super Bowl,” said Williams, who went on to speculate that Lopez may be saying to herself, “You want me to get up there and twerk at the Super Bowl? I couldn’t even get an Oscar nomination because these bougie b****es think that they’re better than me.”
Williams also said she feels Lopez was unfairly targeted. “Let me tell you something Jen: You were robbed. They robbed you purposely because they’re jealous of you.”
Viewers at home took to Twitter and weighed in, with many saying they agree with Williams that Lopez deserved a shot at the coveted trophy:

But others disagreed, and said voters didn’t make a mistake at all:

I'm not surprised with the snubs! The #HFP does this every year. My confusion is why #scarletjohansson has to be nominated twice? You could have left one spot open for @Beyonce @awkwafina #MichelleWilliams or @JLo
