'We'll miss you': 'Married with Microphones' co-hosts announce end of WGRR morning show

“Married with Microphones," the long-running morning show on 103.5 WGRR-FM, is coming to an end.

Chris O’Brien and Janeen Coyle, the show's husband-and-wife co-host team, announced on Facebook their last show will air Dec. 22.

"After my 32 years at WGRR and Janeen’s 28, we’ve decided to unplug the headphones and flip off the mic switch for the last time at year’s end," O’Brien wrote. "We cannot even begin to thank you, our listeners, for your loyalty… many of you following us since our Q102 days of the 70s and 80s."

O’Brien and Coyle met while working at Cincinnati's Q102 (WKRQ-FM) radio station in 1979, WGRR's website says. The couple teamed up for "Married with Microphones" in 1995. They also co-hosted a daily live morning "watercooler" segment for WCPO-TV.

"We’ll miss you, but we’re not done yet," O’Brien's Facebook post read. "Our last show will be Friday, December 22nd."
