Welcome to Samdalri is all set to air episode 7 on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 10:30 p.m. KST on JTBC and Netflix. The series follows the story of two childhood best friends turned lovers, Cho Yong-Phil (Ji Chang-Wook) and Cho Sam-Dal (Shin Hye-Sun). Welcome to Samdalri episode 7 will focus on Cho Sam-Dal’s journey of finding her own identity. She confronted her assistant, Bang Eun-Ju (Jo Yoon-Soo), over the scandal in the previous episode. Sam-Dal discovered that Eun-Ju only wanted to take her place by stealing her project. As she sat heartbroken, Yong-Phil advised her to find herself. In the trailer, Sam-Dal goes on a trail as the first step in discovering herself. Yong-Phil drops her to the same, indicating his support.

Meanwhile, the town ladies find out about Yong-Phil’s visit to Seoul to help Sam-Dal. They tell Sam-Dal’s mother that the duo has begun dating again. Moreover, Yong-Phil’s father discovers about Sam-Dal’s arrival and confronts her father over the same. However, all of it only brings Sam-Dal and Yong-Phil closer. She asks him to not tell her mother about his trip to Seoul with her.

Episode 7 of Welcome to Samdalri will also see Yong-Phil and Sam-Dal’s mutual friend Sang-Do (Kang Young-Seok) confess his feelings for her. The previous episode saw him confront Yong-Phil, asking whether the latter still has feelings for Sam-Dal. In the upcoming episode, Sang-Do will tell Yong-Phil about his feelings for her. The trailer ends with Sam-Dal trying to sneak into her house in the rain. Yong-Phil arrives, asking what’s wrong, and the duo end up falling on the ground.
