Weird Al’s Classy Poetry Parody

Weird Al Yankovic was preparing for his appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert when the host stopped by to tell him something before the show started. Colbert noticed that Weird Al was reading poetry and listening to classical music, which surprised him. Weird Al took offense at being presumed an “uncouth guttersnipe” and assured the Late Show host that he’s about more than just pop song parodies — he also about poem parodies.

Weird Al then asked Stephen if he knew the poem “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening,” by Robert Frost, which Colbert quickly recited. The parody king then gave Stephen his version of the poem, “Whose pizza is this? I think I know, this man is in the bathroom though. He will not see me eating here, to watch my mouth fill up with dough.”

The Late Show With Stephen Colbert airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on CBS.
