Weezer, Green Day, and Fall Out Boy Announce Tour

Weezer, Green Day, and Fall Out Boy have announced a massive joint tour. The “Hella Mega Tour” kicks off June 2020 and wraps up at the end of August. Each band have released their own tour announcement video, which features snippets of new songs from the respective acts. Green Day’s video featured scenes from Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy with the character’s faces superimposed with deepfakes of Billie Joe Armstrong, Rivers Cuomo, and Pete Wentz. Fall Out Boy’s video included a cameo from wrestler Ric Flair. Weezer’s video featured a talking alien in a beanie. Watch all three below.

Just today, Green Day announced their forthcoming album Father of All..., which is slated for release on February 7, 2020 via Reprise/Warner, and released the LP’s title track.

Weezer have also announced a new album called Van Weezer, “tentatively slated” for May 15, 2020, and shared the first single “The End of the Game.” The band have released two albums in 2019: their collection of covers called The Teal Album and their latest studio LP The Black Album.

Fall Out Boy have released a new song called “Dear Future Self (Hands Up)” featuring Wyclef Jean. It appears on their forthcoming record Greatest Hits: Believers Never Die - Volume Two, due out November 15.
