If you are reading about local entertainment, chances are you had live music on your list this weekend. And chances are you don’t have tickets. From Lana Del Rey’s concert at iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach (total sellout) and RDB at Miami’s Kaseya Center to Wu-Tang Clan and Nas at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood and Lil Baby at the Sunrise venue formerly known as FLA Live Arena (now Amerant Bank Arena), tickets are either gone or about to be. It feels like a good sign, but of what we’re not sure.

THURSDAY

Drink and think:The Cox Science Center and Aquarium will present another installment of Science on Tap, a casual evening of science talk and drinks at Grandview Public Market in West Palm Beach at 7 p.m. Thursday. Featured will be Matt Ajemian, an associate research professor and the director of the Fisheries Ecology and Conservation Lab at FAU’s Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute, discussing threatened species and vulnerable ocean ecology. Admission is free, with food and drinks available for purchase. Visit CoxScienceCenter.org.

New night market:The free Sunset Concert at Old School Square in downtown Delray Beach on Thursday will offer a new night market along with a showcase called Vagabond Revue, with a variety of artists, plus food and beverage vendors. Among the performers will be familiar names such as Ron Eisner (The Resolvers), Chris Cope (Artikal Sound System), Mike Garulli (The Heavy Pets, Tand) and West Palm Beach singer-songwriter Danielle Santilli. Admission is free. Gates open at 5 p.m., with music from 6 to 9 p.m. Visit Facebook.com/DelrayOldSchoolSquare.

RBD reunion:The hottest concert ticket of the weekend? With all due respect to Wu-Tang Clan, it’s the Soy Rebelde reunion tour by Mexican pop group RBD, with both of their shows at the Kaseya Center in Miami on Thursday and Friday sold out. Check resale updates at Ticketmaster.com.

JLG at HRL: Dominican star Juan Luis Guerra arrives at Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood at 8 p.m. Thursday on his Entre Mar y Palmeras Tour. Continuing the theme, very few tickets remain, starting at around $300, at MyHRL.com.

Fun and free:Most intriguing concert of the weekend? Son Rompe Pera, led by the Gama brothers, raised near Mexico City, who chop up their father’s marimba and cumbia sounds with elements of ska, punk and rock to create something refreshingly new and fun. The band plays a free show at the beautiful Miami Beach Bandshell at 7:30 p.m. Thursday (doors open at 6:30 p.m.). Visit MiamiBeachBandshell.com.

FRIDAY

So long, Marlins:The lovable Miami Marlins, in the thick of a playoff race that no one expected, play their final three home games of the season this Friday through Sunday against the Milwaukee Brewers. The weekend is chock-full of special promotions, among them 1993 anniversary prices for $2 hot dogs and $3.50 beer on Friday, Beerfest on Saturday, $1 kids’ tickets on Sunday, and the Miami Marlins Foundation Memorabilia Sale each day. Also on Sunday is my favorite promotion of the weekend, the Diamond Dash, which this time will allow all ages to run the bases. Look out, kids! Visit Marlins.com.

N.Y. statements:Legendary hip-hop acts Wu-Tang Clan and Nas bring their co-headlining N.Y. State of Mind Tour to Hard Rock Live on Friday at 8 p.m. As you might expect, tickets are down to platinum level, starting at around $300+. Special guests De La Soul open. Visit MyHRL.com.

History and prosecco:The Historic Stranahan House Museum in downtown Fort Lauderdale will host the inaugural Founding Families Fall Festival from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, a free-admission evening of food trucks, beer and wine vendors, live music, games and more. Note that among the many reasons to be in a celebratory mood is that the never-ending construction to redesign the terrace in front of the Stranahan House has ended. Visit Facebook.com/StranahanHouse.

Bank shot:For historians out there, Friday night’s sold-out show by Lil Baby and GloRilla will be the first concert to take place at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, the venue formerly known as FLA Live Arena. For resale options, check Ticketmaster.com.

SATURDAY

Songs and stories:Cuban-born, Venezuela-raised actor and singer María Conchita Alonso will share music and show business stories during a tour stop at Fort Lauderdale’s Broward Center on Saturday at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $27.50+ at BrowardCenter.org.

Drink pink:Barrel of Monks Brewing in Boca Raton, where the ownership team includes two radiologists, on Saturday will host a party with live music, food and a special can release to support breast cancer charities and the brewery’s partnership with the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. During the 4-8 p.m. party, the featured beer will be Wizard in Pink, a raspberry-infused variation of their signature Wizard White Ale. Every purchase of this brew on Saturday, and during October, will support breast cancer research championed by radiologists Drs. Mathew Saady and William McFee, two of BOM’s four owners. High noon: Esplanade Park in downtown Fort Lauderdale will be the setting for the second edition of Libations by the River on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m., a casual gathering of local purveyors of craft beer, wine and spirits, alongside food trucks, live music and specialty vendors. Beverages will cost $7, or guests may purchase a tasting sampler for $35. Visit GoRiverwalk.com.

SUNDAY

Your Sunday Flea:Seems like forever since The Flamingo Flea alighted on its traditional perch at Tarpon River Brewing in Fort Lauderdale, but here it comes on Sunday to fill the downtown brewery with vintage-y vendors, live music and a convivial crowd from noon to 4 p.m. Visit FlamingoFlea.com.

Sunday dinner: Chef Jennifer Brock will host a pop-up dinner at Palm Beach Meats in West Palm Beach on Sunday from 6 to 10 p.m. The Southern-inspired menu will include, among other items, elevated takes on the shrimp po boy, a shrimp étouffée and a shepherd’s pie (made with PBM’s Wagyu beef), as well as hummingbird cake and Key lime pie. Brock, who works as a private chef and with Ghost Kitchen Collective at Palm Beach Meats, has a fine-dining resume that is topped only by her triumphant story of escaping the web of stress, drugs and alcohol abuse that traps many in the restaurant industry. An active and candid advocate for counseling, Brock deserves our support. Visit PalmBeachMeats.com.
