This week in social media: Dwyane Wade teaches his son to drive his Ferrari; Kyrie Irving shaves his beard
Look, we get it. The internet is a vast place and you can’t see everything. So we’re bringing you the best things from your favorite athletes’ social media accounts.
No need to worry about going though ALL of those Instagram or Snapchat stories. We’ll do it for you and give you the highlights from the week.
And even though a lot of athletes reacted to the violence that unfolded in Charlottesville, Virginia last weekend, including LeBron James, there was some fun to be had.
First, we found out that Dwyane Wade’s 15-year-old son Zaire is learning how to drive.
But, he’s getting to do it in Wade’s Ferrari.
Wade’s old teammate, LeBron James, has been pretty active on his social media accounts lately. Last week he was looking for pick-up basketball games on Twitter and this week he gave us a peek into his very long day of training and revealing the new Cleveland Cavaliers uniforms.
But his post of Serena Williams doing his own powder toss move was awesome. I mean it was awesome of her to do the powder toss in the first place, but his shout-out was a nice touch.

Kings James’ current teammate Kyrie Irving also got some attention this week.

When NBA Central tweeted a photo of Irving with a new clean-shaven look, Irving responded with his first-ever Snapchat. Now, Uncle Drew realizes he’s going to hear some jokes. So you better get them in while you can.
Although there’s still a mystery to be solved about why Kyrie shaved his beard, the real case we were focused on was in Miami.
Hassan Whiteside found a dead parrot at his home. So, he tried to do some investigating.

Russell Westbrook and his son Noah are the cutest! We’re pretty used to hearing Russ sing all over his IG and Snapchat stories, but when he used a carpool karaoke filter on his snap to sing the theme song to Fresh Prince of Bel-Air with baby Noah … man, that took the cake. The ’90s hats and glasses are a perfect fit and even though Noah isn’t singing, we just love that he’s there.

Greg Olsen knows he’s not getting any younger. So when he tweeted out a photo of him as a kid wearing No. 22 he made a pretty solid joke of himself and new rookie Christian McCaffrey.

But the response the new Carolina Panthers’ rookie made was a bit better.

And of course the Panthers’ twitter page chimed in.

OK, this one isn’t from a players’ account, but when you find out your little brother balled out from one of the best rappers on the planet, this counts.
That’s what happened to J.J. Watt.
The Houston Texans DE learned that New York Giants rookie T.J. Watt had a pretty nice game … via text … from Kendrick Lamar. Looks like there is some loyalty inside all of their DNA.

As we said though, the internet is huge so let us know if we missed anything in the comments.
