On Wednesdays, we wear pink: Why Fountain Square will be lit pink tonight

As your favorite "Mean Girls" always say, "on Wednesdays, we wear pink."

To celebrate the upcoming release of the highly-anticipated "Barbie" movie, a famous downtown attraction is getting a makeover Wednesday night. According to a Fountain Square Facebook post, the Tyler Davidson Fountain will be lit pink tonight starting at 7 p.m.

Visitors are encouraged to wear pink and snap pictures.

Don't want the night to end there? Well, come on Barbie, let's go party! Court Street Plaza will also host a "Barbie" party tonight at Frisch's Mobile Roller Rink from 7-10 p.m.

"Barbie" will officially debut in theaters Friday. Some select screenings will be available on Thursday night.
