It's official! Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have tied the knot.

Asghari’s representative Brandon Cohen confirmed the couple’s nuptials. He said: “I am very ecstatic this day has come, and they are married. I know he wanted this for so long. He is so caring and supportive every step of the way.”

The singer and personal trainer said "I do" in front of about 100 people and a few family members, TMZ reported Friday. Her mother Lynne, father Jamie and sister Jamie Lynn were not planning to be in attendance, according to the outlet. Famous guests included Paris Hilton, Madonna, Selena Gomez and Drew Barrymore, photos from the event reveal.

On Friday, Spears shared her reflection on "the most spectacular day" on Instagram.

"Wow !!! Holy holy crap !!! WE DID IT !!! WE GOT MARRIED" she wrote. "I was so nervous all morning but then at 2:00 pm it really hit me … WE’RE GETTING MARRIED... I had a panic attack and then got it together"

"I think we all fell on the dance floor at least 2 times," she added. "I mean come on … we were all VOGUING !!! @SamAsghari I LOVE YOU !!!"

In another post, Spears shared more photos from inside the event, including shots of her long veil, a horse-drawn carriage and her smooching Asghari on a balcony. She also posted a montage of the big day, writing, "Fairytales are real."

The happy couple wore wedding attire designed by Donatella Versace with Spears' dress featuring pearls and silk.

"Designing Britney and Sam’s wedding outfits came naturally to me. A tremendous amount of love was poured into every detail. Together with our Atelier, we created a gown and tuxedo that exudes elegance and glamour," Versace wrote on Instagram Friday, alongside photos from the wedding, which the designer attended.

"Since we first met, Britney has always had a very special place in my heart. Seeing her free, happy, and now getting married puts a smile on my face," Versace wrote with a picture of the blissful duo.

Versace shared footage of Spears' wedding dress along with sketches of her designing it.

She also shared some group photos and a clip of herself, Hilton, Spears, Madonna, Gomez and Barrymore singing a verse from Madonna's "Vogue."

Spears and Madonna even recreated their iconic kiss from their performance at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards.

"Britney you look so happy and in love," Madonna wrote on Instagram, posting several photos from the event. "Last night was fun and sweaty!!"

Barrymore also shared photos from the event, writing on Instagram Friday, "What I learned from Ever After is that we must rescue ourselves and yet still want the fairy tale. And that’s exactly what Britney did! I couldn’t not be happier for her intrepid journey !!!!!!!"

Britney Spears' mom Lynne calls daughter's wedding a 'dream' but didn't attend

Spear's family members including her mother Lynne, father Jamie and sister Jamie Lynne were not expected to be in attendance at the ceremony, TMZ reported Friday. It's unclear if they were not invited or declined to come.

Despite not attending, Lynne commented on one of her daughter's posts from the wedding and wished her and Asghari the best.

"You look radiant and so happy!" Lynne wrote. "Your wedding is the 'Dream' wedding! And having it at your home makes it so sentimental and special!"

The mother of three added: "I am soooo happy for you! I love you!"

Britney Spears' ex-husband Jason Alexander attempted to crash the wedding

Spears and Asghari's day wasn't without drama. Earlier Thursday, Spears' ex-husband Jason Alexander was arrested after attempting to crash the ceremony.

"He has been detained handcuffed and arrested for his disgusting criminal misconduct," Spears' attorney Mathew Rosengart wrote in a statement to USA TODAY.

"I look forward to working closely with law enforcement to ensure he is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, as he must be," Rosengart continued. "Fortunately, Britney is safe."

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari engaged days after petition to end conservatorship

The newlyweds got engaged in September, days after Spears’ father Jamie filed a petition with a Los Angeles judge seeking to end the conservatorship, a legal arrangement that has given him control over the pop star’s estate since 2008.

Legally, Spears could have gotten married, but under the conservatorship (which was terminated in November after 13 years), the wedding had to be approved as with other major life decisions.

Speaking out: Britney Spears and Pamela Anderson's trauma was exploited. What it means to hear their side

Announcing her engagement in September, Spears shared a video on Instagram showing off her four-carat ring. "I can't (expletive) believe it," the "Oops!...I Did It Again" singer captioned the clip along with six engagement ring emojis and six exclamation points to her announcement.

"Look at that, do you like it?" Asghari asked of the ring in the short video, to which Spears replies, "Yes!"

Asghari's talent manager Brandon Cohen confirmed the news in an email statement to USA TODAY saying, he was "proud to celebrate and confirm the engagement."

"The couple made their long-standing relationship official today and are deeply touched by the support, dedication and love expressed to them," the statement said.

The couple kept quiet about wedding details

Spears teased her wedding on Mother's Day with a photo of her veil.

That same day, Asghari revealed that they had set a date for their nuptials, but "nobody will know until the day after."

“Our lives have been a real life fairytale. Happy Mother’s Day to you my soon to be queen," he wrote on his Instagram Story alongside a photo of the pop star flashing her engagement ring.

In early 2022, Asghari and Spears began teasing that they had already gotten married. The pop star referred to her significant other as her "husband" in several posts on Instagram. In one post shared on April 8, Spears referred to Asghari as her "husband" in all capital letters added, "For the first time in my life … I can actually be that girl who can act stuck up and talk to others about how I’m getting married."

Asghari and Spears have been a couple for the last four years after meeting on the set of Spears' "Slumber Party" music video in 2016. The couple made their red carpet debut together in 2019 at the premiere for Quentin Tarantino's "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood."

Britney Spears was previously married to Jason Alexander, Kevin Federline

Spears has been married twice before, tying the knot with Jason Alexander in Las Vegas in 2004 for 55 hours, before the couple quickly had their union annulled. That same year, Spears married her backup dancer Kevin Federline, with whom she shares two sons, Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15. Spears filed for divorce in 2006, which was granted the next year.

The singer has previously expressed wanting to expand her family with Asghari. During a conservatorship hearing in June 2021, she told a judge she wanted to marry Asghari and have a baby with him during an impassioned plea to end the conservatorship. But Spears said she hadn’t been allowed to remove an intrauterine device for birth control or even drive.

In a March birthday tribute to Asghari, Spears doubled down on her desire to have more children. "Happy Birthday to my Fiancé … I love you so much … I want a family with you … I want it all with you !!!!" she gushed in the caption.

A month later the couple announced they were expecting, but in May, Spears and Asghari took to Instagram, revealing in a joint post that she had suffered a miscarriage.

"It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy," they wrote on Instagram. "This is a devastating time for any parent."
