The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are full of gratitude, and they’re not ashamed to show it. Or, more specifically, write it. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s anniversary thank-you notes have officially been sent out, and the royal couple chose a particularly sweet photo from their wedding day to accompany the correspondence.

Royal family fan blogger Gert’s Royals shared a sneak peek at the thank-you note, revealing that it arrived from the U.K. this week. Inside an envelope bearing the mark of Kensington Palace, there was a photo card from Clarence House — much like the one sent out by the Sussexes to say thank you to well-wishers after baby Archie’s christening in July and Meghan’s birthday in August.

The back of the card featured a sort of standard royal reply from the couple: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were so touched that you wrote on the occasion of their first Wedding Anniversary. It was so incredibly kind of you, and Their Royal Highnesses send you their warmest thanks and best wishes.”

The couple’s first-year anniversary notes certainly bring on the royal wedding feels, but it’s not the first time. In thanking fans who sent them well-wishes after their May 19, 2018, wedding, they sent out a black-and-white portrait of themselves taken by fashion photographer Alexi Lubomirski. That said, while it was beautiful, an “action” shot from their special day seems more personal, right?

Since the couple is clearly full of thanks for their many fans, we can’t wait to see what photos they choose for future notes, especially now that the grateful little family of two is a trio.
