The Warriors Soundtrack Gets Vinyl Reissue

The cult classic’s soundtrack gets a new pressing from Waxwork Records

The official soundtrack to cult classic film The Warriors is being released by Waxwork Records. The deluxe double LP has been re-pressed and features the re-mastered original 1979 soundtrack as well as the the movie’s full score from Barry DeVorzon. Waxwork sourced the soundtrack directly from the original master tapes, bringing a new transfer of every musical cue heard in the film to vinyl for the first time (Waxwork reissued the soundtrack and score on vinyl without this additional material back in 2016).

The accompanying artwork was created by Marvel Comics artist Dave Rapoza. The set will feature 180 gram red and brown vinyl, as well as 180 gram purple “Boppers” vinyl. The soundtrack will be available for pre-order via Waxwork tomorrow (November 23).
