Waterside Charlotte County resort with multiple restaurants, bars, food hall to open soon

A long-anticipated Charlotte County resort has announced its opening date, including the debuts of its various restaurant and bar concepts.

Allegiant Travel Company's Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor will open on Friday, Dec. 15 at 5500 Sunseeker Way. Guests can now make reservations for dining starting the same day at two of its restaurants Maury's Steak, Seafood & Spirits, and Stretto Coastal Italian Table — with several other dining and drinking destinations available for walk-ins. There will be 20 dining options in total, including seven signature restaurants, 11 bars and lounges and a food hall housing multiple concepts, according to a press release.

"As we gear up for the unveiling of Sunseeker Resort on December 15, we're thrilled to announce the opening of dining reservations," Sunseeker Resort's executive director of food and beverage Carlos Cepero said in a statement. "Our unique culinary experience is the cornerstone of the resort, bringing an unparalleled offering to both our guests and the hospitality industry. We can hardly contain our excitement as we look forward to welcoming visitors and guests to experience Sunseeker's exceptional dining collection."

Located on the ground level of the Sunsuites Lotus Tower, Maury's will be open nightly for dinner and offer aged beef and sustainable seafood. Stretto, an indoor-outdoor casual trattoria also open for dinner, will feature freshly made pasta, flatbreads, Italian-inspired seafood, meat dishes, signature cocktails, Italian beers and Tuscan wines.

Blue Lime Modern Coastal Mexican, a second-level restaurant with panoramic views of Charlotte Harbor, will offer Mexican cuisine, cocktails, beers and more than 100 tequilas. Allegiant Stadium — Sports Table Tap will be open daily for lunch, dinner and late-night games and feature 70 TVs as well as Americana pub food and a wide selection of beers on tap. Half-Cracked Tiki Shack Restaurant will serve seafood such as a bucket o’ shrimp, steamed clams and baked oysters; classic offerings like burgers, ribs, chops and chicken; and jumbo fishbowl punch, signature tiki drinks, various frozen cocktails, beers, and wines.

The Harbor Yards Food Hall will feature 11 concepts open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner: Riverfront Roast coffee, Brick + Daisy wine bar and cocktails, Chartisan charcuterie, cheese and antipasti, Sweet Shine patisserie and dessert bar, Arezzo craft pizza kitchen, Taqueria Puerto coastal cantina, Kinderhook raw bar and crab company, Saddle Creek grill, Daikon Asian kitchen, Charlotte Parlor gelato and creperie, and Copper Cask beer garden.

Waterside Table Restaurant + Bar, situated between the pool and Charlotte Harbor, will feature coastal poolside fare, shared plates, fish tacos, Angus burgers and salads, while the Reflections Bar will offer frozen cocktails, signature drinks or beers (as will Waterside.) There are also a rooftop pool bar and ground-level pool, each offering the option to order drinks or light bites, but both will be open to hotel guests only, according to the press release.
