Watch 'Zoolander' Stars Try to Find the New Blue Steel
If it seems like supermodel Derek Zoolander is giving the same exact look at all times on the runway, you’re just not paying enough attention.
With his signature Blue Steel, Zoolander redefined male modeling in the original Zoolander back in 2001. With his secret, ultra-powerful glare Magnum, he saved the Prime Minister of Malaysia from a throwing star assassination. And now, 15 years later, he’s back on the big screen in a new — and much bigger — adventure, which necessitates a whole new slate of pouty gazes.

When Yahoo Movies sat down with the cast of Zoolander 2 to discuss the film, we gave them an important mission: Design some iconic new looks. And to help them out, we pre-named them all, so that all they had to do was listen and take some inspiration for their impromptu modeling session. (Watch the video above.)
Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson — the film’s returning model-stars — kept it conservative, even with names such as Pink Sherbet and Vertical Horizons. But Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell really got into the spirit of the experiment, as did co-writer Justin Theroux. They’re all so hot right now.
