Universal has finally released the first full-length trailer for its adaptation of the beloved Broadway musical, “Wicked.”
The prequel to “The Wizard of Oz” recounts the events that happened before Dorothy followed the iconic Yellow Brick Road.

It tells the story of the unlikely friendship between Ariana Grande’s “Glinda” and Cynthia Erivo’s “Elphaba.” And of course, they’ll be singing two of the musical’s anthems, “Popular” and “Defying Gravity.”
It’s expected to hit theaters this November, with “Wicked 2” slated for late 2025.
