Watch Whoopi Goldberg lay head on table after Joy Behar's cell phone interrupts “The View” yet again

"Really?" Sara Haines asked after Behar's "clock timer" went off live on air, prompting the comedian to joke that she'd be fired for the offense: "I need to get a job."

After laying dormant for months, Joy Behar's terroristic cell phone has awakened from its peaceful slumber to wreak fleeting havoc on The View's cohosts once again.

The storied, seemingly possessed device — which has done everything from going off in the middle of live broadcasts to kicking off the show by loudly giving the 81-year-old directions from backstage to her seat at the Hot Topics table — surged to prominence once again after multiple episodes without incident, apparently hellbent on making its presence known to the panel of cohosts during a chat about finances shared between romantic partners.

"It makes no sense. You always need to have your own money as a woman, and you also need to have your own interests and aspirations," Alyssa Farah Griffin said before jumping in her seat after Behar's alarm went off in the middle of the point.

"Really?" Sara Haines asked, while Sunny Hostin inquired, "Joy, where do you have to be?"

Behar appeared to be unamused, confirming that it was "a timer," before further clarifying it was "a clock timer," to be exact. She then said that it went off as a reminder that she needed "to get a job," joking that she could be fired for causing yet another digital interruption on the program.

Moderator Whoopi Goldberg chuckled at Behar's quip, before lowering her head to rest face-down on the table as the panelists continued talking.

Behar's phone became such a nuisance on the show that Hostin once snatched it from her and took it backstage so it wouldn't cause further disruptions.

"Oh my God, turn it off," Behar said, slapping the screen with her hand as music blared from the device. "Stop it! And does Siri talk to me in the middle of nowhere? 'I don't understand what you're saying.' It's like, who's talking to you? I'm not talking to you."

The cell phone joins a growing roster of inanimate objects that have targeted Behar across the last few years, including the aforementioned Siri, a swivel chair that nearly led to her demise, her apartment building's elevator that once tried to kidnap her, and even a living, breathing entity, otherwise known as that one Italian woman Behar called a bitch for not letting her pee in a first-class lounge.

The View airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET on ABC.
