What to Watch this week: Mr. Monk is on his last case in “A Monk Movie” and “Poor Things” hits theaters

Emma Stone is in serious Oscar contention for the movie Poor Things, written and directed by Yorgos Lanthimos and also starring Willem Dafoe, Mark Ruffalo, Ramy Youssef, and Jerrod Carmichael. Also in theaters, Jonathan Glazer's latest movie The Zone of Interest follows a commander of Auschwitz, his wife, and their family, who live right outside the concentration camp's walls. Fourteen years after the series signed off, Tony Shalhoub is back in detective mode for Mr. Monk's Last Case: A Monk Movie, on Peacock. And Julia Roberts, Ethan Hawke, and Mahershala Ali star in Sam Esmail's adaptation of Leave the World Behind, on Netflix.

On TV, lots of shows are wrapping up their seasons, including Kitchen Nightmares, Dancing With the Stars, Bachelor in Paradise, Frasier (and the return of Peri Gilpin as Roz!), Squid Game: The Challenge, and The Santa Clauses. Plus, the Recording Academy and CBS are celebrating music history with A Grammy Salute to 50 Years of Hip Hop.
