Watch Vince Staples and Ty Dolla $ign’s New 'Rain Come Down' Video

Made by Sprite—the brand’s first music video

By Jazz Monroe.

Vince Staples’ new album Big Fish Theory is out today, and now, to accompany its release, his Ty Dolla $ign collab “Rain Come Down” has a video. Check it out below. The David Helman-directed clip sees the pair chill in the desert as an apparently dehydrated Vince plays with an empty bottle of Sprite. The action soon transfers to a dimly lit diner, where Vince wears a grave expression and drinks more Sprite. (He recently had a Sprite-referencing “Norf Norf” lyric emblazoned on the brand’s new range of cans.) The clip was, in fact, made by Sprite, marking the brand’s “first ever music video,” according to a press release. Big Fish Theory marks Staples’ first full-length since 2015’s Summertime ‘06 and his 2016 Prima donna EP. The record also features contributions from Kendrick Lamar, Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, Damon Albarn, A$AP Rocky, Rick Ross, Sophie, and more.
