Lunchtime at Wellington Landings Middle School will never be the same.

On Wednesday, kids got a blast from the past with a surprise visitor.

Vanilla Ice swung by to say hello to the school’s famous “Lunch Lady Squad” whose TikTok videos have been burning up the Internet.

“Hey, we got a party in the lunch room!” the rapper yelled as music starts to blare.

You can probably guess the song they all sang, and where thay sang it.

“That was the first time I ever sang ‘Ice Ice Baby’ in a freezer,” Vanilla Ice told WPTV of the classic made in 1990, years before the students at the school were even born. “I hope it’s not the last. It was actually fun.”

On his own Instagram, the 54-year-old home renovator showed his 486,000 followers the video of him posing with the school employees, who look absolutely ecstatic.

“Surprised the lunch ladies today to show appreciation for keeping the kids happy and dancing and enjoying life. #Smiles are contagious #TeacherAppreciation.”

Wellington Landings cafeteria manager Cori Kerezman said that everyone was shocked to see the ‘90s rapper, who has a home nearby.

“I had no clue. No clue at all. None of us knew,” she told WPTV. “It was so cool. That was just amazing. It was good. A good feeling.”

On the TikTok video shared of their chilly party, commenters were shocked to see the throwback celeb join in the festivities.

“Love this!! Gives the kids something positive to talk about.”

“How I wish I had this kind of vibe in my school … love love love your energy and I’m sure the students always have a smile while on lunch! God bless.”

“My vote, the best school ever!”

“Awesome.”

The Lunch Lady Squad is indeed awesome. Their routines on TikTok have increased food sales at Wellington Landings Middle School.

Administrators said that in the beginning of the school year, roughly 700 to 800 students were buying lunch. After the mashed-potato slinging crew began making videos a few months ago to forge connections with the students, the number is around 1,100, almost the entire student body.
