What to Watch on Tuesday: Jennifer Lopez's World of Dance, binge BBC America's Dynasties

World of Dance

One million dollars! That’s the prize for the winner of this dance competition, which is high-kicking off its third season (before moving to Sundays at 8 p.m). Get ready to gasp, cheer, and cry along with Jennifer Lopez and her fellow judges Ne-Yo and Dancing With the Stars alum Derek Hough.

Dynasties

You wouldn’t be remiss to compare Dynasties with the 1980s soap Dynasty. Both feature families dealing with drama and beautiful creatures, but only Dynasties benefits from the calming narration of preeminent Brit David Attenborough. The natural historian highlights five groups of different at-risk animal populations, from emperor penguins to lions. The shots, and access, are unparalleled, but setting apart this show from other nature docs is the way each episode ends: with a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the years of work done by naturalists to bring us closer than ever to the animals.
