Watch Tinashe Perform New Single ‘Tightrope’ On ‘Good Morning America’

Singer/songwriter Tinashe appeared on Good Morning America today to perform her new single, “Tightrope.” The performance was a first listen for the song, off her upcoming album BB/Ang3L, out Sept. 8.

Clad in purple shorts and a jacket, Tinashe performed the sultry, percussion-heavy track in front of a live audience.

“I think it really represents who I am as a person right now, and everything I’ve been going through, and my life,” she told host Michael Strahan of BB/Ang3L, her sixth studio release, before her performance, calling her music “a melting pot of all things.”

Tinashe’s tour to promote the album, her first since 2021, kicks off in Chicago on October 28, ending Nov. 18 in Oakland, California. The tour also features Shygirl and Uniiqu3.

BB/Ang3L is a follow-up to Tinashe’s 2021 LP, 333. In 2022, she teamed up with Snakehips for single “Who’s Gonna Love You Tonight.”
