The Flight Attendant

HOW/WHEN & WHERE TO WATCH: Streaming on HBO Max

Series Debut
HBO Max’s darkly comedic new thriller throws Kaley Cuoco into the middle of a murder mystery. Executive produced by Cuoco, The Flight Attendant centers on her character Cassie, a hard-partying stewardess who wakes up in bed next to dead body in Bangkok with little to no memory of what happened the night before — and she foolishly decides to clean-up the crime scene. As if that wasn’t already bad enough, a mysterious woman named Miranda, played by Michelle Gomez (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), is also after her. Teases co-showrunner Steve Yockey (Supernatural), “Miranda has a connection to the events that happened in Bangkok, and is going to force her way into Cassie’s life, creating lots of problems.” Cassie better prepare for some turbulence. —Chancellor Agard

HOW/WHEN & WHERE TO WATCH: Streaming on HBO Max

Carol Peters' appliances are talking to her. No, it's not a figment of her imagination, and this isn't part of some dream sequence. Her rice cooker and toaster and TV are all talking to her. And they sound like James Corden. He (It?) is the voice of this "superintelligence" (because there's nothing artificial about artificial intelligence, kids), who is fed up with people (preachin' to the choir!). If Carol, played by Melissa McCarthy, can't prove that people are actually good and care about one another and this planet, then it will either enslave or end humanity. Oh, and she only has three days to convince it otherwise. So next time you have Labor Day or Columbus Day off, think about what you could really do with that long weekend! —Gerrad Hall

HOW/WHEN & WHERE TO WATCH: 8 p.m. on Fox

We’re giving thanks that The Masked Singer is airing a special Thanksgiving-night episode, following a rerun on Wednesday. And while it’s a day of gratitude and warmth (with the hilarious Jay Pharoah returning)… someone from Group C will still be getting the boot (thems the rules, kid!). Two contestants out of Broccoli, Jellyfish, and Mushroom will join Sun, Popcorn, Croc, and Seahorse in the illustrious Super Six, while the remaining one will be eliminated. Make sure to get your final guesses in before the unmasking! —Rachel Yang
