Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Sophie Ellis-Bextor took to the stage on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.

The 44-year-old singer-songwriter performed her song "Murder on the Dancefloor" during Monday's episode of the NBC late-night talk show.

"Murder on the Dancefloor" originally appeared on Ellis-Bextor's 2001 album Read My Lips. The song recently went viral after being featured in the 2023 film Saltburn, written and directed by Emerald Fennell.

Monday's performance marked Ellis-Bextor's U.S. television debut of the song.

Ellis-Bextor will perform "Murder on the Dancefloor" Sunday at the 77th annual BAFTA Film Awards, where Saltburn is nominated for five awards, including Best Actor in a Leading Role for Barry Keoghan and Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Jacob Elordi.

She will also perform her first live show in New York City at Webster Hall in June.

Ellis-Bextor released her most recent album, Hana, in June 2023. The album features the singles "Breaking the Circle," "Everything is Sweet" and "Lost in the Sunshine."
