Watch Snail Mail, Fred Armisen, and Mary Lynn Rajskub Play Goofy New Songs

A playful jam session where they come up with tunes about Chef Boyardee, Jesus, and more

Talkhouse has shared a new podcast with Fred Armisen, Snail Mail, and actress Mary Lynn Rajskub (“24,” Punch-Drunk Love, “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”). In the episode, the three create goofy new songs on the spot. The first one, for instance, is about Chef Boyardee and drinking water. They also come up with ditties about Neil Young, how they’re really the new lineup of Snail Mail, and more. At other points, they spoof the Beatles and Beyoncé. Check out the episode, which was recorded backstage at this year’s FORM Fest in Arcosanti, below.

Snail Mail is performing on July 21 at this year’s Pitchfork Music Festival, which takes place at Chicago’s Union Park. Tickets are available now.
