Watch Sia Sing “‘S’ is for Songs” on “Sesame Street”

The Muppets were all wearing signature black-and-white Sia wigs

By Sheldon Pearce.

Sia made a cameo on today’s episode of the long-running children’s program “Sesame Street.” During the episode she introduced the letter ‘S’ by singing a song about songs. She sings: “‘S’ is for songs, and I love songs/Don’t know what I would do without ‘em/I love songs so much/I wanna sing a song about ‘em.” In the clip, Sia showed her face and sported a red nose while the Muppets all wore signature black-and-white Sia wigs. Watch it go down below.

This isn’t Sia’s first foray into children’s media. Last year, she was cast as the pony popstar Songbird Serenade in the upcoming film My Little Pony: The Movie. She also contributed two new songs to the project. The cast includes cast Broadway actress Kristen Chenoweth, Liev Schreiber, Taye Diggs, Emily Blunt, and Uzo Aduba, among others. “Sesame Street” has previously featured artists such as Pharrell and Janelle Monáe.
