Watch Ryan Seacrest fall off his chair on Live With Kelly and Ryan in 'first fumble of the new season'
Ryan Seacrest is poking fun at himself for falling out of his chair during Tuesday’s episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan — and yes, he’s okay.
Seacrest posted a clip from the chat show on Instagram showing the moment he attempted to grab some gold and white balloons flying over him, only to fall backward. Cohost Kelly Ripa was seated next to him during the segment and immediately helped when she realized he was in trouble.
“First fumble of the new season. Hope I make the playoffs…,” Seacrest captioned the video.

Seacrest took it all in stride, lying on the floor for a few moments laughing as Ripa made sure he was unhurt. She told the shocked audience, “Oh my gosh, he’s fine.”
To make sure his fall wasn’t in vain, Seacrest grabbed one of the balloons that caused all the mayhem and gripped it tight. He told the audience through a huge grin, “I caught it!”
The incident was so momentous to Seacrest that he posted a slow-motion version to his Instagram stories, and fans thanked him in the comments for always keeping it real.
