The Golden Girls legend Betty White celebrates her 98th birthday on January 17 — and the tributes are pouring in from ordinary fans and celebrity fans alike. Among those getting into the birthday spirit, are White’s co-stars from The Proposal, Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds, who teamed up to put together a truly epic tribute video.

Reynolds took to Twitter writing, “happy 98th birthday to the one and only Betty White”… and to blast out a clip he had made together with Bullock. In it, the star pair joins forces to create a personal version of the “happy birthday” song for White. But the twist is that they turn the honor into a friendly competition, with each trying to prove they love the birthday girl even more than the other.

Bullock chimed in adapting the lyrics singing: “…from Sandy, who loves you more than Ryan.” Not to be outdone, Reynolds comes back with, “…from Ryan, who loves you so much more than Sandy.”

Reynolds then feels the need to up the ante, leaning into the camera and asking White in the clip, “What does Sandy do for you every year? I mean, does she hand-deliver flowers for you and wear nothing but black socks and a dozen gold bracelets, just like you requested? Doubt it.”

Wait wait? Well, now that is hard to top. Bullock adds simply: “I love you. Happy birthday.” The video ends with the famous tune “Thank You for Being a Friend.”

How sweet is that? Happy 98th indeed to the iconic Betty White!
