Rita Wilson and her band closed out the first night of WrapWomen’s Power Women Summit on Thursday with a killer jam session that had the audience grooving in their seats.
In the video above, you’ll see the iconic actress singing her original song “Throw Me a Party,” one of several tracks she and her musicians performed for the ladies in the crowd at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica.
Before Wilson and her band performed, “This Is Us” star Chrissy Metz sat down for an intimate chat with TheWrap founder and editor in chief Sharon Waxman and Sophia Bush recorded a live podcast with congressional candidate Cori Bush.

WrapWomen’s Power Women Summit, held at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica on Thursday and Friday, brings together 1,500 of the most influential women from the entertainment, media and technology industries, making it the largest gathering of its kind. With the theme of “Toward 50/50,” the event highlights women of achievement, encourages discussion on topics of impact and creates a lasting community of powerful women. The summit will provide two days of education, mentorship, workshops and networking.
