She sang for 1,200 people in India as part of a pre-wedding party for the son of billionaire businessman.

Rihanna performed her first full concert in eight years in Jamnagar, India, last night as part of a pre-wedding party for the son of billionaire business tycoon Mukesh Ambani.

The “Umbrella” singer kicked off the three-day event — which featured Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Ivanka Trump, Deepika Padukone, and more on its guest list — by regaling 1,200 people in celebration of the forthcoming nuptials of Ambani’s youngest son, Anant, and businesswoman Radhika Merchant, the Associated Press reports

"The show was the best," Rihanna declared in a TikTok after the event. “I haven't done a real show in eight years."

Footage posted on social media from Friday night revealed that the Grammy winner, dressed in a sheer green gown, performed a collection of her greatest hits, including “Work,” “Bitch Better Have My Money,” “All of the Lights,” and more. She is estimated to have been paid $6 million for the concert, which also featured a performance from magician David Blaine, reports TMZ.

Rihanna also took a moment during the show to raise a toast to Anant and Radhika ahead of their special day, which will be in July.

"In honor of Anant and Radhika, thank you for having me here," she told the audience. "God bless your union. I wish you all the best. Congratulations!"

After the performance, Rihanna took to the dance floor to enjoy the night's festivities herself, and could be seen in multiple videos posted on X (formerly Twitter) dancing with actress Janhvi Kapoor and singing along to Miley Cyrus' "Party in the U.S.A."

The last time Rihanna graced the stage was during the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show, when she revealed that she and partner A$AP Rocky were expecting their second child, whom they welcomed in August. Rihanna later told Access Hollywood that the decision to announce her pregnancy at the time was simply out of necessity.

"No one knew I was pregnant. I just told my stylist, 'Make sure it's stretchy,'" she explained. "So the undergarment was stretchy, and [the jacket] was baggy, but, you know, the zip, it just stopped right there, so it had to be what it had to be."
