Watch Radiohead’s New 'Lift' Video

Thom Yorke takes a long elevator ride in the newly-shot OKNOTOK visual

Radiohead have released a brand-new music video for their song “Lift,” the long-lost fan favorite recorded around the time of OK Computer. The track was recently released as part of their 20-year anniversary reissue OKNOTOK. In the new video, frontman Thom Yorke takes a long elevator ride (as described in the lyrics) that is not all that it seems. Watch it below. The new visual follows OKNOTOK music videos for other previously unreleased songs, “I Promise” and “Man of War.”

The new “Lift” video was notably directed by Oscar Hudson, who created a vignette for Radiohead’s A Moon Shaped Pool track “The Numbers” last year. Read our interview with Hudson around that vignette here.

In March, Pitchfork celebrated the 20th anniversary of OK Computer with a series of features. Find them all here, and revisit “Why Radiohead Finally Releasing ‘Lift’ Matters” over on the Pitch.
