WATCH: Rabbit and deer greet each other in ‘real-life Thumper and Bambi’ moment
TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A TikTok user captured a real-life Disney moment right in his backyard earlier this month.
Cody Everetts caught the sweet moment a young deer and small rabbit met up and greeted each other on his patio in Coos Bay, Oregon.
Everetts posted the video on May 3, saying the two animals were the real-life “Thumper” and “Bambi” from the classic animated Disney movie “Bambi.”
The sweet and magical moment went viral on TikTok, amassing over 12,000 likes and nearly 300 comments.
“Thanks for sharing..nature is amazing 🐇🦌,” one user commented on the video.
While another user wrote, “TOO MUCH CUTENESS!!!”
Disney’s 1942 animated film “Bambi” follows the young deer and his new friends, a rabbit named “Thumper,” and a skunk named “Flower,” as they explore his forest home, learning that there are dangers in the open meadows where hunters can spot the animals.
