Princess Charlotte had her first day of school today, and the pictures and footage are beyond adorable.
Big Brother and Little Sister
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were seen walking with Charlotte and her brother, Prince George, as they headed to Thomas' of Battersea in London for school.
The kids first posed for a portrait before class, and fans of the royal family are taking in every moment.

Apple For the Teacher?
Charlotte was clinging a bit to mom as they walked, while George, the veteran, looked more confident.
Charlotte fiddled with her ponytail, as a school official shook hands with the royal family as they arrived.
Each child had their own school bag, ready to learn.

@cath_midd posted a gif of Princess Diana, the children's late grandmother, in reaction to the big event.
Diana would have been so proud to see her grandkids!
Charlotte's the Sweetest
Those on social media also noted that Charlotte appears to have an outsized personality:
