Penn State is coming off a victorious week after a 27-6 victory against Rutgers last Saturday. Despite not having the home field advantage, they’re expected to take another win tonight. Notably, Penn State’s quarterback Drew Allar will be back on the field for tonight’s game, six nights after being injured against the Rutgers and not playing for the second half of their subsequent game against the Scarlet Knights. His return will certainly give the team a leg up for tonight’s game.

Michigan State, meanwhile, had a closer game against Indiana last weekend but still managed a 24-21 win. Both Penn State and Michigan have 4 wins over their last 8 games.

Tonight’s game marks the beginning of a busy weekend for college football. Later tonight, the Oregon State Beavers take on the Oregon Ducks at 8:30 p.m. ET and the Ohio State Buckeyes takes on the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday night.

Penn State vs. Michigan State will broadcast live on NBC starting at 7:30 p.m. but the best way to watch the game online without cable is on DirecTV Stream, currently offering a 3-day free trial:
