The NFL on Fox has been a Sunday staple throughout the NFL season and will continue to be as we head into the NFL playoffs.

Fox splits the main NFL broadcast duties with the NFL on CBS, as well as games airing on NBC, ESPN and Prime Video. But, here is everything that you need to know about how to watch the NFL on Fox specifically.

How to watch the NFL on Fox

Fox, as one of the four major US TV networks, is carried by all pay-TV cable providers, so if you have a cable subscription then you have access to your local Fox station and the NFL on Fox. Another option is a TV antenna, which can receive all local station signals, including Fox.

Live TV streaming services have become a popular alternative to traditional cable, but consumers can still get access to their local Fox stations through many of these services, including FuboTV, Hulu with Live TV, Sling TV and YouTube TV.

Fox does not have its own streaming service, but if you are a subscriber to a traditional or live TV streaming service that carries the network, you can use that login to get the game on the Fox Sports app.

You can also stream your local Fox NFL game on NFL Plus, but only through a mobile phone or tablet.

UK NFL fans that are interested in how they can watch the weekly NFL games that air on Fox should know that free-to-air broadcaster ITV is taking over NFL broadcasts in the UK (from the BBC).

There are some additional paid-for options to watch NFL games in the UK, including Sky TV and the NFL Game Pass subscription service.

NFL on Fox Wild Card weekend schedule

There's just going to be one game that the NFL on Fox handles for Wild Card Weekend, the Sunday, January 14, matchup between the Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys at 4:30 pm ET/1:30 pm PT.

In the first year of the post-Aaron Rodgers era for the Green Bay Packers they earned a playoff spot behind quarterback Jordan Love and their young roster. They did so with a three-game winning streak to close out the season, including two games where they scored more than 30 points. Can that momentum carry into the playoffs and give them a chance to upstart the Cowboys?

It'll be a tall order, as the game is being played in Dallas, where the Cowboys have won 16-straight games at home. There's something about AT&T Stadium that sees Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, Micah Parsons and company just play better. Though to be fair, when looking at their entire 2023 regular season, they were the fifth-ranked offense and defense in total yards gained/allowed, best in points per game and fifth in points allowed per game.
