Dancing With the Stars

Eric McCandless/ABC

HOW/WHEN & WHERE TO WATCH: 8 p.m. on ABC

UPDATE: On Monday, contestant Jeannie Mai announced she was exiting the competition due to health issues. In light of her withdrawing from the competition, Dancing With the Stars has changed its plans for a double elimination and says only one couple will leave the ballroom.

EARLIER: And then there were nine. Which will quickly become seven. That’s right, two will go home tonight after a Dancing With the Stars double-elimination. But first, the remaining celebs will be split into three groups for Relay Dances — dancing either a Cha Cha, Samba, or Viennese Waltz. The couples within each group will take turns showing off their fancy footwork, and one judge will rank the couples within each group. Bonus points will be awarded, and those will be combined with scores from their individual dances to determine who is up for elimination. Anyone else think this sounds more complicated than the Electoral College? —Gerrad Hall

Below Deck

HOW/WHEN & WHERE TO WATCH: 9 p.m. on Bravo

Season Premiere
Though many of us have put travel plans on hold for the moment, Below Deck was fortunately able to fit in one more charter season before COVID-19 hit. Season 8 sees Captain Lee return to the Caribbean at the helm of a luxury yacht with an all-new crew plus Below Deck OG bosun Eddie Lucas, who starred in the first three seasons of the series. Though the crystal blue water looks mighty fine in the trailer, the show — which follows a group of “yachties” who work (and live) together while trying to ensure their filthy rich clients have the time of their lives — rarely promises smooth sailing. From charter guests behaving badly to crew member fights, hookups, and firings, you’ll want to anchor yourself to your couch every Monday night. Welcome aboard! —Rebecca Detken

The Good Doctor

HOW/WHEN & WHERE TO WATCH: 10 p.m. on ABC

Season Premiere
By this point, The Good Doctor fans know to have some tissues on hand when they watch the ABC medical drama, but they may want to order an extra box for the visceral season 4 premiere. Titled “Frontline,” the two-part opener follows Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore) and the rest of the St. Bonaventure doctors as they navigate the months at the heart of the COVID-19 pandemic, and hits very close to home multiple times. “The fundamental issue [in the premiere] is separation and the toll that takes,” showrunner David Shore recently told EW. “We were just trying to be honest…. We felt an added obligation here in terms of getting the medicine right — and the medicine was changing constantly — and to accurately portray what so many people are going through right now.” —Chancellor Agard
